Overview

The Charter Manager will be responsible for any and all ad-hoc charter requirements as set out by the Group. As a member of the Charter Team, you will source aircraft on behalf of PrivateFly clients and other companies within Directional Aviation Group. You will use your knowledge and experience within a team environment to achieve the desired outcomes in the Charter Team. The Charter Manager will report to the Director of Charter Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed assigned targets on a month-by-month basis
  • Execute all charter requests in a timely and efficient manner, whether own customers or assigned to you by the business development team, the Sales team or other brands in the group
  • Optimize the day focused on the highest and best use of time to maximize sales productivity and margin
  • Refer structured product prospects to the appropriate organization within the group
  • Attend events on an as needed basis and engage with prospect and client base
  • Source aircraft from approved and appropriate aircraft operators
  • Where possible, prioritise family fleet aircraft to maximise hours and capacity within theschedule
  • Deliver a premium charter experience to all users of the ad-hoc charter team
  • Ensure fraud checks and internal SOPs are followed to guarantee financial security andsafety standards for each customer and flight
  • Work as a team to ensure all charters requests are handled and team objectives are met

Qualifications

  • Must possess the legal ability to work in the United Kingdom
  • English fluency is essential with an additional language as advantageous (French, Russian, German preferred)
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage in pursuing new business and have an entrepreneurial spirit when it comes to ad-hoc charter
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop and nurture relationships with suppliers outside of the Directional Aviation Group.
  • Professional and polished face-to-face, phone and written communication skills
  • Have a demonstrated track record of being successful in the ultra-high net worth space and understand how to sell from a value vs. price disposition
  • Adept at articulating the key differentiators of the PrivateFly solutions in a crowded market where competitors focus on price
  • Be driven by an organised and aggressive approach to using phone, email and text to deliver breakout performance against monthly goals
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritise tasks
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
